There are no switches - how does the Vizalert turn itself off to save power?
It has an internal motion sensor which detects when the helmet is moving. Even normal body movements are enough to switch on the power. Set your helmet down and the power is automatically switched off after a short time.

How long do the batteries last?
2 standard CR2032 cells (watch batteries) will power the Vizalert for over 80 hours. This is more than 3 months of normal use.

Will the Vizalert dazzle me at night?
No, it has a built in light-senstivie sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the LED at night.

How does the Vizalert attach to my helmet?

The helmet display is supplied with two fitting options:

  1. A special 3M adhesive pad
  2. Silicon adhesive
